I watched your program for the first time this morning and I was so amazed at the show! I love the artists work, the flow of the show, it was interesting and what an appreciation it shows for the arts!

What an absolutely fabulous show. In case my associates hadn't seen it I've passed along your site quite broadly. Thank you - enjoyable, inspiring, educational and moving.

I am absolutely loving the new series Star Portraits. Each week I can’t wait to watch it and if I miss it, I watch it online. Keep up the tremendous work.

I was an artist who had the wonderful experience to have been a part of the show and to be able to meet not only a famous Canadian on a personal level, but a great group of people in the cast and crew. The experience was one of a kind and I'm hoping that my season, although the first, will not be the last! More Canadian artists should have the opportunity as well.

I found the processes used by the different artists fascinating. Louise Pitre is a wonderful host. Her enthusiasm is enjoyable and infectious. I look forward to future shows and hope it will become a fixture on Bravo.

I just wanted to say I saw Star Portraits on CTV this morning and it was fantastic.  I wanted to congratulate you guys on a really cool show and I hope that it continues on.  I wanted to send this e-mail to CTV specifically to say Thank you for continuing to show strong Canadian Programming.
- Melanie W.

Firstly let me congratulate the production crew and staff for putting together an interesting and educational series based on famous personalities and artists.  It’s nice to see the Visual Arts as a focus of attention in the same vein as the other Arts …   Hopefully this concept will take off and expand.   Louise Pitre does an excellent job hosting the program and keeps the show moving along.

Last night I watched the first episode of Star Portraits, with Elvis Stojko.  What a great show, I can't wait to watch the other episodes.  I'm an artist living is Edmonton, and I love seeing other artists at work showing off their talents.  Bravo to this program!
- Pat M.

I would like to commend you on a wonderful program.  […] Louise Pitre does the program so well, and does so with much grace, elegance and style.  We have so much to be proud of and thankful for in Canada, and to see Louise and others showcased is a wonderful way to bring Canadian talents to light.  It has sparked much discussion with family and friends … certainly expressing our own opinions and comments, and appreciation of our Canadian talents !!!  I applaud BRAVO and all that are involved for an incredible program.  I look forward to the remaining episodes, and for similar programs in the future.

I watched it this past weekend and thought it was a brilliant show and concept. It is now my new favourite.
- Caroline S.

I loved that the artists explained their ideas and how they created the portraits. Great host, great guest, great show.

CONGRATULATIONS! It was such a thrill to see the final result of all that filming! I thought it came together beautifully...you managed to fit a lot into the half hour time slot. I've had many e-mails and phone calls to say how much everyone enjoyed the show.

People who know nothing about the artist's process had great comments...they thought it was very informative and entertaining. Thanks again for this fabulous opportunity! I would do it again in a minute!
- Laurie McGaw (Artist, Star Portraits)

Really enjoyed the show last night!  I really enjoyed learning about the subject as well as the different styles of art. Congrats
- Lynne S.

I just wanted to extend my Congratulations to BRAVO for tonight’s STAR PORTRAITS featuring Elvis Stojko. It was a powerful, impressive production! One of the best I've seen to showcase the creative process of an artist- especially 3 exceptional Portrait Artists- who have such diverse approaches. It was exciting & stimulating! And the 3 Portraits were dramatic and powerful and certainly captured the essence of Elvis. I can't wait to see how they interpret Romeo Dallaire!
- Gwen D., Lively, ON.

The first episode was very interesting and I'm sure this will be a very popular series. In the small group that I watched with, we were divided on what we would pick, but almost unanimous on what we thought HE would pick. It's interesting that one painting was more appealing to most of us, but we knew that he would think the other was more representative of himself. So the show provokes lots of discussion. Anyway, great show. I'm looking forward to more.

The first installment of ‘Star Portraits’ on Bravo TV is AMAZING!  What a class act this show is!  And it’s CANADIAN!!!!  WhooHoo!!! What a privilege it is to see trained artists at work – to get a glimpse into their techniques and processes.
- Gillian M.

Congratulations on a good inaugural episode for Star Portraits on Saturday. I wish you and everyone involved with the project the greatest of success with it.
